Join us on Friday, March 18th from 8am to 9:30am at Cultivate Pickerington to hear from two experts on "living in your truth." Yoga teacher, Alison Forche, will lead us through breathing techniques and practicing gratitude. If you enjoyed January's presentation on what self-care is and isn't- you'll love hearing some tangible ways you can practice "self-care" in this month's meeting! Plus, what are chakras? Reiki master, Allison Kuhn, will guide us through meditation and positive affirmations and explain how they can affect your 7 major "energy centers," known as chakras. You are guaranteed to leave feeling relaxed AND energized, so register today!
About Alison Forche:
As the Relationship Manager for Gerber, Alison works hard to develop strong referral relationships with area business leaders and strategic partners. Before joining the Gerber team, Alison was the Practice Manager and Marketing Director for Rob Forche Orthodontics, her husband's business, and an attorney with Forche Law and Mediation - Divorce and Custody Mediation and Eldercare Planning and Mediation, where she still practices. She earned a BA in psychology from The Ohio State University, and a Juris Doctorate from Capital University School of Law, graduation Summa Cum Laude with both degrees. When she's not at work, Alison spends her time with family and friends, exercising and volunteering. She enjoys teaching Yoga, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, meditation and walking with friends. When she finally sits down, Alison loves to listen to non-fiction, business and self-improvement podcasts and books, and attends as many continuing education/training opportunities as possible. In both her personal and professional lives, Alison strives to be the best she can be.About Allison Kuhn:
Allison Kuhn received her RYT200 in May 2017 from The Yoga Training Center with Laurel Hodory and is certified in the Hatha Vinyasa and Ashtanga style. Allison is known for her authentic, non-judgmental teaching style and mindfulness centering. Her personality shines thru in every class and provides a fun atmosphere. She aims to bring students to the top of their potential by encouraging growth of the physical and spiritual self.Allison is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School.
Allison received her certification in December 2018 as a Reiki Master and Teacher and was trained in the traditional Usui system.
